About this policy
This policy explains how KAHUNA uses cookies and similar technologies on our Shopify online store. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use personal information and your data protection rights.
KAHUNA is operated by D Lavery trading as Kahuna Premium Sportswear.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your computer, telephone or other device when you visit a website. Similar technologies can also store information on your device or access information already stored there.
These technologies can support shopping functions, remember choices, measure website use and support advertising.
Cookie categories
Required
These technologies support functions necessary to operate the store and provide services you request, such as maintaining your basket, operating checkout, supporting secure access and remembering your cookie choices.
Required cookies cannot be switched off through the cookie preferences panel. You can block them through your browser, but parts of the store may stop working.
Personalisation
Where enabled and permitted by your choices, these technologies remember information about your interactions to personalise your experience on subsequent visits.
Marketing
Where enabled and permitted by your choices, these technologies support advertising, measure marketing activity and help us and our partners, including Shopify, show relevant advertisements.
Analytics
Where enabled and permitted by your choices, these technologies help us understand how visitors interact with the store and identify areas for improvement.
Your choices
Our cookie banner offers Accept, Decline and Manage preferences.
Manage preferences allows you to choose whether to allow Personalisation, Marketing and Analytics. You can select individual categories, accept all optional categories or decline them all.
Declining optional cookies does not prevent you from shopping. Required cookies remain available to support the store.
Where consent is required, optional technologies must not be used before you provide it. Continuing to browse does not, by itself, constitute consent.
You can withdraw consent or change your choices using the cookie controls available on the store. Contact us if you need help accessing those controls.
Shopify and other providers
Shopify hosts our store and supplies services used to operate it.
Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled. This can use information about interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify to support service improvement, personalisation and advertising, subject to applicable consent requirements and privacy choices.
Shopify explains its technologies, their purposes and published durations in its Cookie Policy:
https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies
That list covers Shopify services generally. The technologies used during your visit depend on the features you use, the store's configuration and your choices.
Shopify's privacy controls are available at:
https://privacy.shopify.com/en
Cookie duration
Session cookies normally expire when your browsing session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until they are deleted.
Different technologies have different durations. Clearing cookies may remove your saved preferences and cause the banner to appear again.
Browser settings
Most browsers allow you to inspect, delete or block cookies through their privacy settings.
Blocking all cookies may affect your basket, checkout, account access or other functions. Browser settings apply separately to each browser and device.
Personal information
Information collected through cookies may include device identifiers, IP addresses, browsing activity and preferences.
Our Privacy Policy explains the purposes and lawful grounds for processing personal information, recipients, international transfers, retention and your rights.
Changes
We will update this policy when relevant technologies, providers or practices change. The latest version will show a revised date.
